This mug is all about the glaze. I threw it on the wheel using a speckled iron stoneware that peeks through the finish, adding a bit of earthy grit to the design. The "peacock" effect comes from layering hand-poured glazes that flow and react in the kiln, creating deep blues and iridescent greens that move differently on every single piece.
